How To Care For Your Fresh Cut Christmas Tree

To maintian freshness and fragrance follow these simple steps.

• Cut one to two inches off trunk and place in water.
• If the tree is not going into the house immediately, store in a cool, shady place sheltered from wind and direct sunlight.
• Check the water level daily. A tree may drink a gallon or more of water per day!
• Add tree preservative to the water.
• Place your tree away from all heat sources including fireplaces, woodstoves, heat vents, and direct sunlight through a window.
• Be sure lights do not have cracked sockets or frayed cords.
• Always turn your tree lights off when leaving home or going to sleep.
